about the role:

As a Housekeeping Staff member, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of all areas within the venue. You will work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to execute cleaning tasks, maintain supplies, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Achieve the monthly and annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established.

Cleaning Tasks:
  • Execute routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, in designated areas of the restaurant.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in guest areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols.
Supply Maintenance:
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and amenities in restrooms and other designated areas.
  • Report any shortages or issues with supplies to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked supply storage area
Guest Interaction:
  • Interact positively with guests, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests related to cleanliness concerns.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines during all cleaning activities.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with fellow housekeeping staff and supervisors to achieve cleanliness goals.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues or challenges.
    • Foster a positive and cooperative work environment within the housekeeping team.
    Training and Development:
    • Participate in training programs provided by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply new cleaning techniques and protocols.
    • Seek feedback from supervisors to enhance performance.
    Quality Control:
  • Follow established quality control measures to ensure high cleanliness standards.
  • Participate in spot-checks and inspections to assess the effectiveness of cleaning efforts.
  • Address any deviations from standards and report to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Shift Responsibilities:
    • Adhere to assigned shift schedules and report any deviations promptly.
    • Ensure proper handover of duties at the end of each shift to the incoming staff.
    • Maintain punctuality and reliability in attendance
    Customer Service Focus:
    • Contribute to a positive guest experience through cleanliness and attention to detail.
    • Anticipate and address cleanliness needs to enhance guest satisfaction.
    • Provide courteous and friendly service to guests when required
    Emergency Response:
    • Be prepared to respond to emergency cleanliness-related incidents promptly.
    • Follow emergency response protocols and assist in resolving urgent issues.
    • Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other team members during emergencies.
