WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Achieve the monthly and annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, providing a positive first impression.
- Present menus, offer recommendations, and take orders accurately to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Attend to guests' needs throughout their meal, demonstrating attentiveness and responsivenes
Menu Knowledge:
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special offerings.
- Provide detailed explanations of menu items, answer questions, and make recommendations based on guest preferences
Order Management:
- Transmit orders promptly to the kitchen, ensuring accuracy and special requests are communicated effectively.
- Monitor order progress and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes to the table.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of orders before presenting them to guests.
Upselling and Promotion:
- Promote specials, featured dishes, and beverages to enhance the dining experience and drive sales.
- Effectively upsell menu items, such as appetizers, desserts, and premium beverages, to maximize revenue.
Table Maintenance:
- Set and arrange tables with attention to detail, ensuring cleanliness and proper placement of utensils, glassware, and napkins.
- Clear tables efficiently between courses and after guests have finished dining.
- Reset tables promptly for the next guests, maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
Payment Handling:
- Present bills accurately, clearly explaining charges and any additional information.
- Process payments, including cash and credit card transactions, in a secure and efficient manner.
- Provide change and receipts promptly, expressing gratitude for guests' patronage.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Assist colleagues during peak hours and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Communicate guest feedback and special requests to relevant team members.
Knowledge of Dietary Restrictions:
- Be aware of and knowledgeable about common dietary restrictions and allergens.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen regarding special dietary requests to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:
- Follow health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and hygiene practices.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness in the dining area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
Customer Feedback and Conflict Resolution:
- Solicit feedback from guests and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Handle guest complaints with empathy and offer appropriate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
