WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Achieve the monthly and annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to reconcile physical stock with records.
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain accurate and up-to-date product information.
Goods Distribution:
- Coordinate the distribution of goods to various departments within the venue.
- Implement proper procedures for the issuance and return of items.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all goods transactions.
Ordering and Replenishment:
- Work closely with the purchasing team to place orders for replenishment.
- Monitor reorder points and initiate the ordering process in a timely manner.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules.
Storage and Organization:
- Oversee the proper storage and organization of goods in designated areas.
- Implement a systematic arrangement to facilitate easy retrieval and prevent stockouts.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines for the handling and storage of goods
Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of received goods.
- Collaborate with the receiving team to address any quality-related issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential quality concerns.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all stock movements.
- Prepare and update documentation such as stock registers and transaction logs.
- Facilitate the retrieval of information during internal and external audits.
Communication with Operational Teams:
- Collaborate with kitchen, service, and other operational teams to understand stock needs.
- Provide support and information regarding stock availability and alternatives.
- Address inquiries and requests related to inventory from various departments.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and delivery personnel.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding product availability, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Provide feedback to vendors on the efficiency and accuracy of deliveries.
Waste Management:
- Implement waste reduction measures and monitor disposal procedures.
- Collaborate with sustainability initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
- Track and report on waste management metrics.
Ad Hoc Analysis and Projects:
- Contribute to ad hoc projects related to supply chain optimization.
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address organization-wide initiatives.
