As the Hostess Supervisor, you are responsible for leading the hostess team, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests, and overseeing the seamless coordination of the front-of-house operations. You will manage guest flow, reservations, and special arrangements, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Achieve the monthly and annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the Company.
Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead and supervise the hostess team, providing guidance and training to ensure consistent guest service standards.
- Set clear performance expectations and monitor the team’s adherence to company guidelines.
- Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining oversight of guest satisfaction and dining flow.
Guest Greeting and Seating:
- Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Oversee the management of seating arrangements, ensuring the seating chart is organized and updated regularly.
- Address VIP guests and special occasion seating arrangements with personalized attention.
Reservation & Waitlist Management:
- Ensure the efficient management of reservations, accommodating special requests and last-minute changes when necessary.
- Oversee waitlist management during peak hours, providing accurate wait times and ensuring guest communication is clear and professional.
- Collaborate with the hostess team to reduce guest wait times and enhance the dining experience.
Guest Communication & Experience:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
- Provide detailed information about the venue, including daily specials, events, and promotions, ensuring guests are fully informed.
- Handle escalated guest issues and feedback with tact, aiming to resolve concerns promptly and satisfactorily.
Event Coordination Support:
- Work closely with the events team to organize and manage special events, private functions, or large group bookings.
- Oversee the hostess team's coordination with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless event execution.
Front-of-House Management:
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, ensuring the reception desk, waiting area, and entrance are always presentable.
- Monitor the ambiance, ensuring proper lighting, music, and decor contribute to a welcoming environment.
- Ensure the hostess team maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the dress code.
Training & Development:
- Lead regular training sessions for the hostess team on customer service, guest relations, and emergency procedures.
- Stay updated on hospitality trends and implement innovative strategies to improve the guest experience.
- Provide performance feedback to team members and suggest areas for development.
Collaboration with the Service Team:
- Ensure smooth communication between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, relaying special requests and guest preferences.
- Assist in coordinating the flow of guests with the kitchen and service teams to ensure optimal dining experience timing.
